User Types
Fincept API supports two types of users:Registered Users
Permanent accounts with full API access:- API Key Prefix:
fk_user_ - Duration: Permanent
- Features: Full access to all endpoints
- Verification: Email verification required
- Credits: 100 initial credits
- Subscriptions: Can purchase premium plans
Guest Users
Temporary accounts for testing:- API Key Prefix:
fk_guest_ - Duration: 24 hours
- Features: Limited access (no chat, no payments)
- Rate Limit: 50 requests per day
- Credits: None
- Subscriptions: Not available
User Lifecycle
- Registration → Create account with email and password
- Verification → Verify email with OTP
- Login → Receive permanent API key
- Usage → Make API requests
- Upgrade → Purchase subscription plans

Credits System
Credits are consumed for premium operations:- AI Chat: 1 credit per message
- Premium News: 2 credits per request
- Database Access: Varies by database
- API Calls: Free tier included
- Earned through referrals
- Purchased in bundles
- Included in subscription plans
